Xuesong graduated from the University of Cambridge with a PhD in Photonics. He worked at Sharp, Fuji Film Electronics Imaging, the University of Sheffield, and CoMind after earning his PhD. He has worked in both academia and industry for more than 18 years in the field of Optics and Photonics R&D. He oversaw design and development at CoMind, a London-based business that specialised in the creation of next-generation optical systems for non-invasive brain-computer interfaces, prior to joining Nu Quantum. Currently working at Nu Quantum as a team lead and principal optics engineer.
